During opening hours, Romsdalsgondolen departs every 30 minutes, with additional departures during busy periods. Whether you're joining us for lunch, dinner, or simply a coffee and cinnamon scroll, you'll enjoy convenient access throughout the day.

Do you need a cable car ticket to visit Eggen Restaurant?

No, you can also reach Eggen Restaurant on foot. There are several hiking routes to the summit of Nesaksla, including the trail from Åndalsnes via Romsdalstrappa and Rampestreken, the Via Ferrata route, and the famous Romsdalseggen hike. You can also take the Romsdalsgondolen cable car directly from Åndalsnes to the summit in around seven minutes.
If you choose to hike, make sure the route matches your experience and fitness level, and check the weather and trail conditions before setting off.
